Cake, Hannukah

Short update for December.

Advice: If you play the "Dreidel, dreidel, dreidel" song on repeat for 30 minutes (its a 30 second song) your Japanese students will impressively start singing it in the halls and remember it even a month later!

We played dreidel in all of my classes, sang the dreidel song, and I was the resident Jew at my friend Sam's community children's holiday festival.

Then I went to Odai for Sam, Sam and Chitos birthday where I played Wii (i rock at bowling) and made a magnificent (American) cake with Jamie (maybe the middle sunk in a little bit ...).
In case of lack of plates, use hands. And chopsticks. There is never a lack of chopsticks.

My toes swelled. Apparently from the cold. Big, red, itchy, swollen toes. Boo.

And then, I went to the Philippines.
